Well, I started the first day of the fall semester here, so hopefully things will settle down a little with the programming on the site, and I can focus a bit more on some actual content for the site.

Based on the design of the trail location on this site, I plan to add a few more features based off the same framework.

The first feature will be an event locator to replace the non-functional one on the site right now. I intend to re-do the system so I can automatically scour some web pages and rss feeds for race and event information, and then convey it directly into a searchable database. If anyone has any good sites or RSS feeds I might be able to pull race info off of, please let me know via the "contact" button on the top menu.

I also intend to add a few other 'locators' such as workout partners, gyms / health clubs and probably running stores and health food stores or something along those lines. Leave me a comment if you have any suggestions.

I also spent a few dollars on a google adwords campaign, so hopefully we can start to build up a little community here, I haven't really spent any time at all promoting the site yet while it was in its infancy, but I think I have the site up and running solid - now I just have to add a few last features and then I can focus on content.

I am taking some educational and general psychology as well as an upper level human physiology course (which I'm told focuses quite a bit on exercise physiology) so I hope to be able to bring you some new wisdom on a daily basis in the blog once things get rolling.
